Established in December 2020, Hanjip Korean Grill House immediately became a popular KBBQ spot, with numerous online personalities even raving about its meat quality and overall ambience on Instagram. With our curious tastebuds and empty tummies, we decided to take a trip down to Clarke Quay, where Hanjip Korean Grill House is located.

Hanjip aims to set themselves apart from their competitors from Tanjong Pagar & Amoy Street, with a rather monochromatic interior. Decked in black furnitures with gold complements, this restaurant looks like a scene out of the K-drama, Vincenzo.

Here, we see their signature Hanjip Platter($158++), which consists of 650g of USDA Prime ribeye and boneless short ribs, Kurobuta pork belly, as well as marinated pork collar. Their kitchen crew abides by a strict rule of dry-ageing all their meat for at least 7 days before serving, making their meat more tender and flavourful. Who doesn't love a well-marbled meat?

They also have a selection of Korean stews and noodles to complete your feast, such as Spicy Cold Noodle($18++), Spicy Handmade Tofu Stew($20++) & Seafood Pancake($20++).

What sets their seafood pancake apart is their unique "layering" method, where their batter and beaten eggs are layered one after another, creating a crispy omelette texture.

If you're all about privacy and intimacy, Hanjip has seven themed-private rooms that can fit up to 8 pax! From traditionally-decorated rooms to a unique 'Parasite'-inspired room, Hanjip aspires to provide customers with the most unique and authentic Korean dining experience like none other!
